Diesel SW/LWB WANTED

Post by george.ene »

Hi,

Wanted SWB or LWD diesel for bush bashing and towing.
Was thinking Hilux, Bighorn, Patrol or Landy.

Low Ks, MTs are a must, Diff lockers and other toys desirable.

10k is my budget.

Hi Smokey, that is a nice truck, I've already had a look at it (assuming you're around the corner from me in Hoon Hay). Very tidy and well worth given work & maintenance that's gone into it; but sadly, I am after a diesel with the price of petrol these days.

Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.

Hi Folks, thanks for the offers! looks like everyone is trying to get rid of their rigs.

First of all, I should say I have been looking at different sources and think I've found something i like, will be going down this weekend to maybe pick it up .
Plain and simply, for the price, its hard to resist - assuming the truck is as good as the advert.

Anyone seen this around? Should I be weary (bearing in mind the price)?

Crazee. My email addy is george.ene@gmail.com sounds like a good truck.

Ethan, if you have the pics available are you able to fire one off to my e-mail (above)?

Gazthedoc, sorry but I've made the mistake of getting a car loan and that was the first and last time. Good luck with sale.

ClassicCruiserSpares, by mid wheelbase are you implying 3-5 door? Sounds pretty sweet. I'm pretty serious about the purchase above but I have a mate that is also also about to start looking into a new rig so will forward the details on. Ideas on the price for the 70 series?

Smokey, you may get a call from my mate Tex. He's after something like yours.

Cheers guys.
