yet to take it apart, but it was full of Woodhill already and the brushes will need doing and all that. I am looking at using a Renault 19 alternator (90A) but that will be once I have the zuk back up and running.

Will price some bearings and brushes up and compare it to a price of a good alternator. Take it apart first though

mine looks bigger, but the one I saw in pick apart was a lot closer in size. But I cant say the shape was the same or not as I didn't have mine with me today.

Ok, so I had a look at my old mount and measured it up. turns out it is the same size as the V6 mount. Which is typically more expensive.

So does anybody have a spare left V6 engine mount?

Any idea as to why it would use the bigger mounts? My Suzuki seems weird, extra gearbox mounts, V6 engine mounts.

if its common to break mounts in those things someone might have upgraded yours to bigger/stronger ones, if you've got some money to throw at it captive mounts are they way to go and you'll never have an engine or gearbox mount problem again :D

yea, if only I had money to throw at it. I am now selling off some of my spare parts so I can at least buy some mounts and whatever else I need to get it finished. and I know the front has had bit of a light accident before I got it so they may have changed the mounts then too.
