td27 eti

Post by navara66 »

Can the newer nissan td27t eti motors be converted to run a mechanical injector pump off the older td27t. I am not realy wanting all the hassels with the wiring loom ect but want the newer low km motor.

you could always get the td30 ( the 3ltr intercooled) out of newer terrano and put your manual pump on that to, then get Diesel services to tune it

TD30 ???

you mean ZD30? if so then you can't fit a manual pump to that.
QD32 is the other one, 3.2 turbo. easy enough to fit a pump to that.

Are the injector pumps a straight swap, or is there more to it.

Hmm this has got me thinking...
Does the qd32 bolt up to replace td27? Ie engine mounts and bellhousing the same? This could be a potential power upgrade :D

Hey TD power,

does the QD32 injector pump fit the TD27eti engine???
and is there a upgrade for the TD27eti Turbo? ( it's got the TB25 on it)

Hey TD,

well there seems to be 2 problem

#1
I don't want it to be custom build, becz if something happens to it then I'm out of a turbo. would be better if I could buy a upgrade one from ebay and swap it with the standard turbo.

#2
and I'm from Suriname, somewhere in south-america. so would be impossible for me to let it be customized by Steve  . Would be one expensive custom turbo though

i'm thinking around 17-18ish psi would be good. what ya think, I just need to get the boost a little sooner.
so what kind of a turbo do you recommend :?: Garrett would be great, becuz there are a lot of them on ebay.

so let me know what ya pondering :)

A little on the expensive side but, I'll go with your advise.

I'll keep looking around second hand shops if I could find 1 laying around.

cheerio, and thanks.

Its was never in question to be sorted out

you can use a td27 pump on a qd32
you can use a qd32 pump on td27
you can use an early td27t on a late model td27ti
They are all interchangeable, if you want the best one out there get a bd30 pump with the 12mm head
Lots of fuel for lots of boost
