Must be a jeep thing.....
Who on earth would let a farkwit do your spotting (other than that clown obviously).
He got everything he deserved.

I agree. If the driver is not comfortable, just stop.

Amazing that nobody else stepped in to stop this. Crazy line to take.

yup spot on Rok, way back at about the 20 second mark I would of stopped listening to her as you could see she was sending him in to a dicey situation

love the first comment on the youtube page

and then she sits down and has a little cry at the end

must be far too much free cash floating round in the states looking at where they take their nice new shiny jeeps, I think I need to be stateside

where the fcuk are they trying to go

they seem to be going along the same lines of putting your truck on the edge of tipping over

I'm sure theres a whole bunch of better lines you could take to get to the same spot :?

even that second driver had an ass pucker moment as he grabbed the hand grip above his head and clenched his butt together

Hey Skid, you can see the Ruby parked with hood up on the bottom with minimal damage on the left side.

Here is another video from a different angle of the Ruby rollover. Interesting recovery at the end as well. Nothing really stopping it from rolling backwards if the brakes/gear didn't hold.

Jeep JK Unlimited Ruby = NZD 60,990
Jeep JK Ruby = NZD 55,990

At current exchange rate plus 15% GST, that USD 30k is about NZD 43k. At the moment Jeep in US is offering around USD2k/3k as incentives (discounts), which makes it around NZD 40k even. A premium of NZD 16k+ is a bit over the top, in my opinion. Oh well, its a Jeep thing.

Only Sport models, not Ruby. I considered it when TJ Unlimited Ruby came out and was not offered to export countries. I think biggest problem would be warranty issues. There is a dealer who specialises in Postal Jeep: http://www.postalpete.com/it/

Think they were all out of there depth. too much money , lack of experience. the bit that annoyed me was when the guy in the silver one that went over backward someone say " good job" which kind of says as a group they shouldnt of been there. like too think when we out doing dodgy shit you can at least be sure everyone has got your back. even if we all do like too see a good roll overs. on a trip theres always trucks that are ok to roll and others you just dont. 20 grand road goers you dont. dicks

I'm with you there dude

At the end of the original vid that was posted I couldn't believe how many folks just stood around, some casually wandered over to chat with the driver, but nobody raced off and got a truck or a winch and started a recovery operation.
If I rolled like that, I'm fairly sure I'd want my rig back on its wheels super quick so as not to wreck the engine among other things :(

Yea could see what she was trying to do but his wheel base was too long too get that back left wheel up before the front made him roll. could see it a mile off. next guy made it with the shorter wheel base. we all live and learn including who in the group to let guide you

driver also didn't listen to her and hold it hard lock (would of been an ass puckering feeling to do) if he held it hard lock turning into the roll it would of been less likely to happen. You'll see he feels it slipping and trys to counter it but straightening his wheel a bit.

The second one behind also had leaf springs (its a CJ8) versus all coils on a JK probably with disconnected sway bar upfront. CJ8 would have been more stable regardless of the wheelbase when the weight shifted onto one side for both.
