pajero auto stuck in 4wd hi

so ive got a `1993 2.5 4d56 auto pajero and its stuck in 4wd hi, is this an easy fix or am i in for a kick too the balls ?

try driving backward first or on to soft ground so one wheel can spin a little. if that dosent work, jack up any one wheel, and that should fix it.

Yea doesn't work its jammed hard. My guess is the lever has disconnected and jammed? Is this possible?

Do you need to push down on the lever in the Paj then move it???

so the 4wd lever is jamed. i had that it was a stone an it was up ontop of tranny pita to get too.

if lever movin then it will be the air solanude thry sit behind air filter i think yellow dot is the 2wd one. if they fail it puts truck in 4wd

Pull the centre console out and unbolt the gear lever flick it back into the right place then reassemble it can be hard to get the centre console out without being able to move the transfer case lever.

yup done piece of piss the selector lever had jumped out of the transfer case rod thing like you said NJV6
