TD42 Tach sensor vs TD27 Tach sensor

Hi Guys,

Out of curiosity and this could be a stupid question but they look the same, the electrical wires are the same color except shorter. So knowing that it would all plug and bolt in is it fair to say they are interchangeable? I'm having a really hard time getting a second hand one for the TD42 and can't afford a new one.

One would say so. If it was me, I'd try it extending the wire temporarily to check it if need be.
