without wanting to sound like I'm taking the piss I spent most of the weekend fixing my wipers

since I put the flatdeck back together the wipers always stopped at the top of the screen and the washers wouldnt work, had to pull the cowling off and drop the wiper rack to get the motor off and rotate the arm on the wiper motor 180 degrees to get the wipers stopping at the bottom of the screen then armed with a stack of workshop manuals, wiring diagrams, testers and a FBH probably a bit too close for comfort  :? I traced and tested the shit out of everything for 2 days untill I eventually plugged the wiring loom into a spare steering collum I had sitting in the corner and it turned out to be the washer switch on the wiper stalk :x so I swapped the switch cluster over and got the washers ticked off my list of shit to do Image

With the help of Sibainmud and SP450andLE and my mate Jason I got the body on the new chassis with no real damage so its a win in my books.

Took a while, especially seeing I dont have a bloody trolley jack, so it was just another complication. Worked out in the end. Still a bit of fiddling to do with the body mounts but at least its sitting flat on the chassis.

Gave the Lada alty to sibainmud today, so have to buy new brushes as well as the master cylinders soon, lucky I'm owed a bit of money.

Got soaked helping lincooln, hopefully it doesn't make my flu any worse :?

Perfect day with awesome traction due to the clear weather all week.

Sunday, drove around to Lincoln's in the rain to clean under the wheel arches and help with his body swap.

Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!
