i rekon you should push that rear axle back a bit so it looks more factory and have less departure angle, plus in the process you could lenghten the links for more flex :P

A couple of updated pics, front bars just a bit of 6" channel with ends on it and some heavy walled tube on that. Looks ok, my first attempt at bar work.
Still on the to do list:
-Manual front hubs
-Spotlights
-Snorkel
-New shocks
-Make a rear bar/pintle and 4bolt towbar.

Put some spotties on the truck the other day, just some cheap arse Nitestalker? ones.
Image

Also did a little mod so I can lock the rear diff in 2wd and Hi4, Just needed to earth the no8 pin in the 4x4 control ecu plug. Tricks the ecu into thinking Im in Lobox
The black one.
Image
Job done. Works sweet and took all of 10min. :D
Image

Few weeks ago I replaced the LSPV with a Willwood brake proportioning valve, seems the truck passed wofs and cert(twice) with next to no rear brakes. All sorted now, a bit of a concoction of fittings but works.
Image

Also a pic of the Driveshaft loop for cert. Was just one of Trademe mounted long ways so it hung down low enough. Easy enough to just unbolt the bottom half of the loop when 4wdn so it doesnt get caught up.
Image

Just snorkel and new shocks to go. :D

very impressive well done. might want to put a protective cover on that proportioning valve. that spot can get a bit of impact in deep mush. wont take much to bend that knob shaft.

Well finally got around to fitting the hilux stubs and aisin manual hubs on Saturday, what a messy C*"& of a job! The kit I ordered had the hilux/early LJ inner axle seals which are too small for mine, ended up getting some seals from Ripco which may or maynot be ideal... Anyway all done now and seems to be working great, fitted new rotors and all new seals while I was there. Anybody got a better recommendation for those shitty little screws that lock the wheel bearing nut in? both the Electric ones and the Aisin ones are near forked...

Re; Tork Screws, use a flat ended punch on the head before undoing, or Buy some Cap screws and machine the heads to the same CSK angle as the tork screw heads. then use an allan key wrench.

Ditch the cap screw bearing lock fella and go for the double nut with locking washer. LN 106 Hilux etc have them.

Wheel bearing lock nut:
For the screws I just used some counter sunk cross head ones...Off the shelf variety.
They don't need to be super tight as they only hold the lock ring on.
And don't take load....
You can go the double nut and tab washer way, but why go backwards when the original way is soooo much easier to adjust and lock off...
And they never back off.....

Having now got the lock tabs like on the hilux I'm wondering if I can change mine to the prado style, The front wheel bearings have to be adjusted every 3-6 months at the mo :-(

Why did you have to do a drive shaft loop? Your trucks not a scratch build. All you've done is a motor transplant. Your cert guy knows squat.

(i) the vehicle has had an engine conversion that has resulted in a significant increase in
power or torque; or
(ii) the vehicle has had its factory‐fitted engine significantly modified, such that a significant
increase in power or torque has resulted; o
