Sanden SD508

Post by Garrick »

Hey everyone, just wanting to know if anyone has a Sanden SD508 v belt aircon unit laying around in their back shed that they want to get rid of? The only one i can find is one on trade me for $380 and he doesn't specify what brand and model it is. Or could someone point me in the right direction to find one.
Thanks

there are a few other models of sanden compressors you can use for endless air ( i presume thats what you are after one for) I use a SD 709, there are a few sandens that work but make sure you dont get a variable displacment one (SDV) as they require back pressure from a charged line (Air con system) to be able to output any significant pressure

keep searching mate something will turn up at a reasonable price, york pumps are also well worth looking for but they usually get snapped up or out bidded pretty quick

i had two of then, one which william hamilton brought and i still need to send off to him actually, i found them by not searching sanden, and just searching ac pump, some people dont know what they are worth so u can get them cheap, i paid around $100 each for my ones. Where are you? you could maybe try an aircon place, unicool in chch are pretty good. Check out european cars being wrecked, they tend to have sanden compressors
