Rare Spares Christchurch

Post by snotgoblin »

Has anyone used these guys for any parts for their older 'cruisers?

http://www.rarespares.net.au/rsnz/default.aspx

They have some good stuff, it would seem rust repair panels window seals etc.

What I am really after is a couple of floor pan replacements for a early 1980 BJ40. Only ones I have found so far are here;

Any pointers and/or advice appreciated.

Cheers 8)

tried them, found them to be hellishly expensive and struggled to find parts for us

partner has a 1970 Crown and needed rubbers for it, they supplied a front windscreen rubber at nearly $400

a mate told me to look on ebay, found the rear window rubber for $40 US and $40 US freight from Bangkok, at the time the dollar was good and only cost $119 NZ

have since bought door rubbers, boot rubber and they all come in toyota branded plastic brands

I would prefer ebay over rare spares anyday now :wink: :wink:
