Scored me some 4.1:1 diffs. Choice, time to pull the front axle for a knucle rotation and rebuild. May be having a shakedown in a couple of weeks
Still keen for that deal with you tho Jase. I'll have the 3.7's out early next week.

Haa alright.

Still working on the front diff. Been thinking about how knuckle studs come loose with high steer. My solution (and I'd say I'm not the first) is to replace the studs with m12x1.25 cap screws with these fancy locking washers, they look like a wavey flat washer (no idea what the are called, but my supplier assures me they are the shit, heres hoping). I also drilled out the holes and inserted stainless thread inserts. Fingers crossed   Cap screws are abit long too

Also I have finished all the fabrication on the front housing. Very soon the 60 will be a roller :D :D

Good stuff on the front diff man. We'll be out bending it and like you said, rolling it, in no time!

Very close Nibs. They look the same but are one piece. Hope this idea works  Maybe some six shooters would be a better idea? Time will tell............................

Nice work again :)

You could always do the 5th stud mod - although that would mean welding to those pretty high-steer arms...

I did the 5th stud and put a keyway in (ala Jafa) as well. If I ever get a chance to use it, I guess time will tell as well........

did you use helicoils?have you tried these?http://www.newmantools.com/kee.htm
they are the ducks nuts.way more durable than helicoils and best thing is you don't need special sized taps or odd sized drills
