Back onto the Play-doo.
Clearance for the hi-steer

This is just a little more than it'll have once the coilovers are in.

Bit to clean up then pull it to bits to fully weld and paint.

Re: Tomsoffroad & Customs
It seems that Nissan, when they designed the D21 chassis, never intended on any more than the metal toothpick factory bumper. Sorted that design fault

If you break it... build it stronger.
Re: Tomsoffroad & Customs
Nice work again tom, Just a quick question, What are the rules re welding to a chassis, eg does it need cert if its for bullbar mounts? am building one for a ln106 on a tight budget to fit winch and tought welding some gussets to front crossmember would work but unsure of rule

To the best of my knowledge yes it does require cert. This truck already had an uncerted body lift so was destined to be certed anyway.

Re: Tomsoffroad & Customs
You really are coming of age now Tom. Some nice looking design work going into that as well.
I really have an issue accepting work that is done with no thought to asthetics as well as function, but your stuff is ticking both boxes. Awesome
