40 series cruiser drag link balljoint?

Post by turoa »

Does anyone know what type of balljoint a 40 series cruiser uses to connect the drgalink to the tierod? anyone know where I can get one? part number? any info would be great. Maybe all cruisers used them. It is not the push pull type steering.

Cheers

no, cruiser ones are different to hilux ones.the cruiser one is same as in the pic but slightly smaller diameter. i had a new one in the shed somewhere that i will never use,but i cant find the bloody thing. pop into ripco and ask for a left outer tie rod end and thats what you should get, be about 15 bucks or there abouts.

are you using a cruiser link rod or a hilux one ? (link rod being what the tie rod threads into) the 40 series cruiser tie rod is smaller diameter than the hilux which is smaller than the 60's and 80's cruisers
