Yes been there and not done that... :?
I too looked at this years ago and because the way it is attached the normal way doesn't work... So I just took mine out and threw it away...
If you could undo it from the chassis and have it attach to the leading arm on one side it could tag along for the ride? I just cant remember if its above or below the drive shaft...
Otherwise make one like the rear....?

Yes mine is ok ish with it gone, was good when I was running 33's but now I am on 35's its a bit more floppy so to speak....
Just take it off and put it under the house.....
Keep it as if you go for a cert later the cert man / woman might want it in if truck doesn't handle the way he / she likes it...

Cheers for the replys guys.
I really want to keep the front swaybar in.
I have driven mine without the front swaybar fitted and it rolls too much on road for my liking, as the springs I have in it are fairly soft.
Having the rear one out makes less difference than having the front one out.
I have a disconnect on the rear so no point in removing it.

I've got a disconnect on the front. Cut chassis hangers, weld on tube top and bottom that slide into each other with a pin to hold them together for on road. Couple of springs that the bar hangs off when disconnected.

Sounds very much like the mods that Paul Delis, (Pradozer with 1 z) on here, has done with his.
I was about to post up this mod when I saw you have, drive it.

Been intending to do this to my -71. Hopefully before the Godley trip...

My truck is much nicer up big river beds with it off, however I drive too hard around corners on-road not to have it connected on-road.

Sorry about the blury close up but I think you can see the general idea. You can reach under and pull the pins without having to roll round in the mud, then just push the bar down a bit and swing the droppers clear of the bottom tube and you're good to go.
