i am going to put longer shocks in my suzuki what will be better oil or gas

You do realize that ALL shocks (well these days) have oil in them don't you?
Gas shocks use an inert gas (usually nitrogen) to pressurize the oil to help prevent cavitation, Hence a gas shock will always be better than a standard hydraulic, all other things being equal.
The quality of the shock, and suitability of the valving is what is really important.
Be better to aim the question at other zookie owners and see what they use that works
