Up the Waipara again last evening - river now at normal flow. Easiest way to enter/exit via Stringers is to use the red gate on the South-side (before one crosses the bridge).

yea he was the camerman, but I will be getting some of him going up. I crused up easly the first time ut went back for the camera and took the hardest line I could find :lol: :lol:

Looking at the pics of the stuck landrover with broken recovery loops just reinforces the point about having a proper rated "towhook" mounted properly....I hope you convinced the stuck guy and his mate who broke the loop to join ORE !!!!!....
