factory toyota winch wanted

Hi Guys & Gals

I am after a factory toyota winch off a 80 series, doesnt need to go as only after the housing on the motor so if anyone can help me out and wants some extra cash that would be great, I would prefer a non working one if I could but what evers about in the Christchurch area.

I thought so to but i payed 16k with a free truck :lol: :lol: :lol: . but have just read his full post doh. sorry only got half way though and remembered seeing one this morning .

Cheers, yeah it is a bit more than I want to pay, my winch is fine but the bearing housing on the front of the motor crapped itself. I think If I wasnt able to fix it I would proberly replace it with an aftermarket winch.

I have a 24 volt motor for one - not sure if that's any help, not sure which parts are interchangeable, but they do look different.
SWB V6 Paj with one or two mods ;)

Here is the difference in length and look between the 12v low mount and the 24v high mount motor. Its a good inch longer. The 12 volt high mount motors (not shown here) look like the 24 volt motor, they may be shorter but have the same style and look as opposed to the 12v low mount motor.

I would be interested in taking the motor with the damaged front off your hands rather than turfing it out. Cheers....

i be keen on buying the 24volt motor for a spare for mine, mine just been done up by stan,but always good to have a spare

I will let ya know, my plan is to repair it at the moment as goes fine apart from that, but if I have no joy its yours
