i want to put the 3.4 turbo diesel landcruiser motor into my 2.4 ln65 double cab has anyone done this before? any tips or advise will be much appreciated.

this is the landcruiser motor or rotory motor?
if the landcruiser one.
i have seen this done.
it was a 3b conversion an we put the 13bt in it.
first thing ya want to do is find some 12volt parts, alt, starter.
we tracked down a LN130 gear box an also found a belhousing off a landcruiser which bolted straight up,that way ya got round the drivesharft issue.
The set up worked very well with loads of grunt.
Issues we had was motor is heavy for front springs an it was wired 24volt which gave loads of trouble, we found out after that, ya can get 12volt parts an were convert it back but he sold truck.
the hilux it was in ended up going to timaru i think.

A heavy motor but they have a heap of tourque

What bell housing was it and to what gearbox? So it went 13BT-LC bellhousing-LN130 gearbox/ R151 ?
