boss hogg gets a snorkel

well i finally got the snorkel to pop onto my dads truck,managed to con D.B into helping me do it as hes done a few now so that was good,made it much easier.

gaurd had to come off

cut a piece off the end of the snorkel to fit up the inside of the air cleaner snout which had to be split so it can be clamped and sealed.

D.B's steady hand at cutting the holes worked a treat

even fits

and finished

job done and all worked well on the wing ...yea, and we came away with the result.....

This lift kit is for a VX dude,me and benny have ideas of fitting it to his old boys truck for a laugh.I have been keeping an eye out for a cheap one but nothing yet.

i managed to get the last of the $299 Air flow deals from genie before the price rise. pretty lucky really as he was doing the price change the same day i ordered it :wink:

Damn, that looks good, wonder if I can get one for twuck? Or mod one, we got a Plastic Welder here in Wangavegas, will rush out and visit with him, he MAY be able to make/mod for me. I will have to make representations to the chancellor of the Exchequer....
A cheaper way will be to remove the one of Pauls truck in the middle of the night..... Judge knows me so he wont be a problem.....
