Not all without problems, I had to space the upper arm bumpstops up 10mm or the cv's bound up at full extension. I may look into dropping the diff a little too. The shocks are just short enough and will bottom at around 10mm of bumpstop compression. I may have to mod the upper mounts for a bit safer clearance, tho the Rancho's have pretty good internal stops. We'll see.
Overall tho, it now sits level with a bit of droop still available, which was the plan after all.

Where'd you get new top arm from?
Does it do much other than increase distance from shock to arm (mine just touch on full droop, worn top bushes don't help lol) ?

Lol, no sas will be a bit further down the track, tho it is being looked into....
The arms I made myself, they allow a lot more droop than the stockers, a little too much in fact, and are a little longer to fix the camber from the extra lift.

Well done on the arms mate , how much lift over standard to cause the cv issue? i looked at lowering the front diff in my navara but theres not much room to move unless you start playing with the lower arms and torsion bars

I see Calmini make some arms, but for later models. Not sure if they would fit though on the older Terrano’s.

Definitely the 2WD conversion required now. There must be a heck of an angle on various parts now.

Some good advice Simon gave me. Just watch those CV boots, if they are bunched up on one side to much, then they get a hell of a lot of wear, and you'll be replacing them quicker. If you have room, slide the boot down the shaft further.

Yeh, you'll get about 15mm or so before the cv's contact the arms.

As for height, at 640mm from the steel guard to the center of the hub the cv's are just starting to bind. You wouldn't want it any more than this at full droop.

Done the rest today, 2wd stuff in there now. And I put my prototype (it was the first one I made...changed the design a little now...) idler brace, and a bit of reinforcing on the arm too. Should be all sweet now. The outer tre's still are pretty much at their max angle, and the adjusters collide with the swaybar at full lock/extension. But not too badly. Machining the adjusters was easy as, took about 1/2 hour to bore and re-tap both adjusters and the locknuts.

Overall do you think is is worth doing? I guess its just the outer ball joint that will cause a problem if any.
Would you still get the rolling effect of the center-link?

I've been reading about the HooHaa and TK1 bars, but they are old topics.

At this point, I'm not really sure. I'm a bit worried about the bends in the inner tre, tho no-one has had any problems yet. It will definitely reduce the twisting on the centerlink, and will reduce stress on the idler too (lower angle = less upwards force).
I'm pretty sure the Hoohaa links won't get a wof here.

Just had a chat to the wof guy here, he said a big NO! to the Hoohaa link, and it would be hard/impossible to cert too, as it's a welded casting.

The Calmini should be ok, as it's all bolt on, without changing the mounting points etc. But it's a little bit of a grey area as it is a bit different to stock. Would depend on ya warrant guy/day etc.
