Thoughts on this 2" lift kit

Post by oneinkedgeek »

After alot of advice from a previous thread, Ive decided to look at suspension for a 2" lift rather than go with the body lift.

After a bit of looking around, I come across this kit here for my GV, and thought it didnt look too bad and comes with all the bits like camber correction bolts which ive heard are a good/must have. (these are crazy exspensive on trademe)

I know OME are going to be better, but $650 landed vs $1600 is a pretty big difference.

Any thoughts ? Anyone recommend someone in Auckland I can see for this ?

Put one together yourself. Talk to Mark (Abbott) at Chamberlain springs (cobra) about springs, they'll custom make you some if need be, and Autolign can do shocks and camber bolts. Depending where you are someone like tomsoffroad can do those shock spacers for ya.
Easy and all local.

I'm guessing you're in auckland when I read it properly.... I can do those front shock spacers for ya. Gimme a call on monday if you want, I can probably source all the other bits for ya too. Hafta check the prices of everything tho... (09)2611515 ask for Andrew.
