Hi all
After performing a 50mm body lift on a D21 terrano I am wondering how others have remounted the front bumper.
Anyone got any advice as I am not really happy with how mine went back on.
Cheers

Re: Terrano bumper on lifted truck
dunno specifically about a terrano but in general you sit the bumper on a couple of offcuts of 50x50 boxsection ontop of the chassis rails and weld up and drill some new mounts to pick up the old chassis mounting holes
dunno if that helps much with your application?

I just cut mine vertically in front of the mounting bolts, offset it and welded it back together with a bunch of bracing.

i ended up cutting a bit of the body out, but thats mainly cause i want to make a new bumper anyway.

Interesting, your mounts look quite diferent to mine. I have two bolt holes and not a big locating space like yours.

Re: Terrano bumper on lifted truck
Thanks for your input guys. Its helped.
Was thinking if it was worth leaving the bumper on as I'm planning to have some bar work done on the front including winch mount. So not sure if that can all be worked in around the existing bumper or just get rid of the front bumper all together.
Would need to have an alternative for the indicators of course.
Cheers

you can use the original indicators if you get one made up from plate, but there is some nifty ones out there.
im going to be making mine out of pipe, easier to work with when you dont have the cutting equipment.
