Which 80 Series CV?

$100ish through Repco/BNT/Road&Track

$470!!! through 4wdbits

$??? through toyota

Does anyone know of any other sources that are not cheap shite and not a billion dollars each? I cant seem to find a middle ground.

yeah, apart from the fabled Longfields. Although, they would be similar money landed as the 4wdbits stuff.....Is there an NZ Distributor?

if you dont go for the longs then OE all the way the rest are just crap (ie repco super cheap etc)

Yea I wouldn't use a Repco or Supercheap one, they look like cheap junk compared to a genuine one.

from memory OE are around $260 ish, so not too bad, the aftermarket ones are rubbish......

$375 +GST for one from Toyota (part# 43405-60120)
But this is the short version me thinks, and I am keen to upgrade to the longer ones.

do you know anyone that works for a toyota dealership? get them to get you a better price :mrgreen:

Hi,
If you use the longer ones you will need new flanges.
Mine is a 91 and has the short ones but a different part no. 43405-60030

If you have your Chassis no. can check if the right part no.

I have asked for a price on the 43405-60070. Flanges will be replaced either way.
