The boost compensator dosen't add extra fuel. What it does is resricts the fuel off boost so you don't have black smoke coming out your exhaust and making your egts go up when off boost.
i'd just turn the fuel scerw an 1/8th of a turn at a time untill you reach the amount of smoke your happy with. If you want to increase the boost its best if you get a good boost controller and ajust it with that.
Fyi , i ran a tdo5 turbo on mine and never fitted a boost comp. It had a bit of smoke but was at full boost(15psi) by 2100rpm so it only smoked for a very short time.

yeh i'd b e turning the fuel up. To do it on a safari you have to wind the screw in not out.
to me if your note getting full boost till you hit high rpm then you have either a boost leak or the turbo is to big for your truck.
