And what did you do????
I have broken the starter chord for the weedeater...
Went off road with the lawn mower and got bogged.
Needed to operate its multi point lift device to compensate for wheel sinkage.
Note: no cert or authority card required... Off road use only.
Tried to tread lightly but failed....Size 8 gumboot marks all over the lawn :?

welded up stud holes in a rim, re drilled the holes so they round (rim came loose), refit tire to beadlock rim. made a steering joint out of 4140 for a mate,

Went the nz police college and drove their skid car around the track, cop car, funny feeling sitting next to a cop, in a cop car and being told to boot it to slide it around the track, much fun!!!

tomorrow looks like welding up some side bars for another mate.

cheers

Went on a Norwest OHV Club/Auckland 4wd Club combined run up to northern Muriwai. 27 trucks turned out
Stunning day both with action and weather.
25 trucks made it off the beach under their own steam. We won't mention Ladeda
Pics and some Gopro footage.

Well I had to go out to new lyn to install a counter act rust thing in a guys zuk. For got something so had to come home. Once home I heard a knocking noise from the engine so I had a look and 4 of the 5 bolts holding the crank pulley on had gone and the 5th was loose. Glad it didn't fall off on the motorway.

Found one bolt on the drive. Put some new bolts in temporary until I can get some better ones. When I pulled the last one out it snapped, and one of the new ones snapped too. But managed to get them out with out too much fuss.

So fairly average day

More of a tonight achievement got a call after work, im stuck in a creek can u pull me out so I asked the question "do i need to fit the big tyres or just leave the little ones it?" Was told nah just bring the little ones you'll be right. Got there to find 2 zuks stuck in a creek.

There was no way in hell i was going to get one of them out but after a hr i managed to get the other one out with the bighorn getting a bit of a beating for most of the recovery she started to heat up and develop a ticking noise lucky once it cooled off it went away. Never heard that before so paniced a bit but one of the guys was quite knowledgable and he said not to worry.

Next time i will just fit the big tyres as it would have made life easier on t the bighorn.

Also they mentioned it was shooting flames out the exhaust  so still running rich and need to get that sorted. Hope that not bad doing that.
