hi guys and gal!! last weekend saw the demise of my beloved hiluxs steering .the flaws of push pull steering in a gen1 hilux.many thanks to the guys for brain storming and working out a quick fix .(sorry about the jack handle)..

so it now appears i need a strenghtened front push pull arm can any 1 help eg..aftermarket ... modified...

hoping someone close to hastings has something for sale..

Get a ifs steering pump and hi steer?

a jack handle, sounds interesting do tell

1 hacksaw +1 trolly jack handle and hey presto..

if you get stuck i hav a push pull box and arm sitting here you can have cheap to modify

I've got an almost new steering system that I'm ripping out to replace with hi-steer. Will only have done 2000-3000ks since I put it on. J-arm, Relay rod, Drag link and Tie rods. All from Toyota. Got the steering box rebuilt too but there was a bit of wear inside the box so there's a small amount of slop still.
