will 31x10.5r15 silverstone xtreme tyres fit a 91 vitara?

has any one run this combination on there vitara/escudo? im gettin thm on 15x8 rims -19 offset if just brought a 2 inch body lift kit and 1 and a 1/2 inch suspension lift will this be enough clerance so they dont rub? if they will how high do i need to go to make them fit?

That much lift will be fine. Good choice if tyres . Keep an eye
out for front diffs and get yourself some spare cv's, you mite
be needing them

you will break the front diff for sure time to start thinking about giving it some beefing up thats for sure

Should fit no probs might have to massage the inner guards a little. As for bracking things im running 32inch simex (measurer up. 33.5 brandnew) and havnt broken one cv! Haha waiting for the day tho. What type of engine you running? Tim

only running the standad 1600. whats the cheapest way to beef up front diff /cvs?

31's u will get on easy with that sort of body and spring lift. On my old suzuki I was running 33x10.5 silverstones with no body lift just spring lift , only rubbed at full lock on inner fender so u should be sweet... Will try upload pic for u...

The best solution to the front diff is to find a steel diff out of a grand vitara, but they are rare and expensive. As far as c.v.'s go, just get good at changing them This thread has some useful information/pics:

heres a pic of new silverstones got them couple weeks ago the pic is with 50mm body and 50mm suspension lift and still had clearance issues trimmed about 80mm off the back of front fenders still hits now and again off road when at full lock.

am wanting to make a winch bar for her now but looking at it cant work out where the best place to mount it to is any help or pics would be good.

think ill get onto getting a locker at sumstage and changing the gearing to as is to high range now with 31s

I saw a guy up Woodhill the other week who had made all new front body mounts and all the bar work was incorporated and all the fruit. Looked tidy as and way stronger than original.
