Oops, sorry Jerry, I'm not having a go at you or any body, I can see exactly what you are doing and I would and do do the same. It was my sense of humour and in no way did I intend my post to detract from a great thread on a fun trip and the chance for us that didn't go to be part of it. Very sorry if I have offended you or any on the trip. And yeah Richard I would have had my JANDALS on,

SAFETY JANDALS.

There was an enormous 80 series parked in Invers yesterday which looked like one on the video. It didn't have an authority card to be in Southland 8)

Looks like u guys had a great trip.
Was up at McCauly on Sunday as a day trip and saw your entry in the hut diary. And the other persons entry " doing a hut inspection"

Yeah was a bit weird that comment and we had a bit of a think about it but couldn't come to any conclusions.

Everyones gear was still there as the hut was full, no complaints from the good bastards who where there the night before with us (which we have to email a pic of trucks at the lake too) but it wasn't covered in food or dirty dishes so beats me. Can't please everyone.

Maybe he was mates with Muzza and was having a whinge about tyre tracks in the snow?

Also I checked back through the last few years to see if there were any negative comments after we had been there and nada.
There were one or two after a southern club trip not taking beer bottles with them though which is a shame.
