87 surf sole offroad project

Post by 2roky »

giday i've got a 87 surf live axle model that i'm turning in to a sole offroader its currently running a heat seized 3y.
so far i've removed rear fiber glass canopy ( no one wants any windows i've got a few?)
stripped everything from inside of it just the dash and driver seats left.
getting 150mm spring hangers made for it
old radiator is gone had to many holes to be worth fixing
3y almost ready to be pulled out and a cressida to be put in.

will keep you all informed of how it all goes may have a few pics up in a week or two.
feel free to give me ideas of other mods i could do on it.

flex and hight, you'll need to do something with your stering of you'll break your J arm, your using a 1GEU a, the twincam one not the single cam one.
cause it will be only offroad you can remove your torqu rod off the front

or...

second one has the bit about lux springs and cheap crossover steering..

hint: let the fingers do the walking and research things thoroughly.. it'll save you heaps of lost money in the long run.. :D
