GQ Patrol Factory Locker

Post by fonz »

Hello,

I'm looking for some assistance on installing a Patrol factory vacuum locker. The diff is all setup ok, just wondering on the vacuum setup. I have all the bits i.e. canisters, solenoids hose, one-way valves, just not 100% on what direction the vacuum flows and via which cansiters etc.

Does anyone have any diagram of this? Or photos with tags on where things go? Any help would be really appreciated - I have found a tech manual image that only shows 1 canister, not the other...

Cheers

Hope this helps. You can also buy a much more reliable single solenoid from macvalves, which operates much faster too.

If you go the new valve way go for a spring offset single coil.Use the spring offset to disengage and solenoid to engage, simplest way.
