Hilux seat options help

Post by KIWI_TERRANO »

So i brought my self a tidy ln106 sr5 but after driving it for 6hours im iver the seats, there uncomfy and stiff as hell,

Want to see what sort of after market seating people have in there hiluxs!?

Ive heard subi seats are a straight bolt in just dont know how comfy they would be in a 4wd, i would love racero gspec surf seats but cant find any.

Also do kzn185 and late model 02-05 hilux sr5 seats fit?

Any help apprecaited

wrx seats are great in them but they are not quite a straight bolt in, you need to drill 1 hole (per seat) through the floor and add a plate underneath to bolt into.
Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level then beat you with experiance!

Everything will feel uncomfy and stiff after driving the Terrano/couch.
Still got the Terrano I hope :)

cool, just don't chuck out your other seats as you may need them for a wof if your not getting a cert.

Depends how fussy they are being.. mines passed with old subi seats in it (i think maybe leone or early legacy they not the flash deep bucket ones), but it is pretty noticable that theres an extra bolt there

Best seats i have ever sat in 4wd wise were from a jeep grand cherokee Ltd.

so good i bought a pair and shoved in my LN56.

they were leather so mud wasn't an issue but the side and lumber support were a bit worn so got the local upholsterer to re do them.

never did get around to wiring up the heaters and little electric levers in stuff though. just hooked up a battery to the motors to get the drivers seat in "my" position and the passengers ...err semi right.
Waiter...there is a drought in my glass.
