New from the Mighty Wairarapa

Post by guttix »

Howdy all...been trawling the site for info for ages now, thought it's about time I introduced myself
new to 4WDing...joined a club, been on a couple trips so far
Got a 1996 110 Landrover Defender...loving it. Haven't done anything major so far to it...serviced it, repaired a bunch of rust, new radiator, and a new set of 32" Mickey Thompson MT's...and also spent countless hours figuring out where the hell the water is coming in from, haha
snorkel/extended breathers etc next on the job list

sweet sounds good. had a nosey around down at Ocean Beach yesterday...cruised up a couple of the rivers, and along to the track till a big shingle slip...chickened out going along a narrow, shingle part with a wee washout, getting too skinny for my fat landy (and inexperience... )
