mates pos d21 terrano not running right

mates got a pos d21 has just had the "steering" fixed, starts and runs ok, lacks power...feels gutless, is overheating when driving as well. was ok before it went in ... all the plugs look ok, is a v6 ... any ideas?

i did offer him $5 for it :lol:
70 series prado (KZJ78) and 90 Series Prado (KZJ95)

Check radiator, air filter etc.

all there, it feels like theres a hesitation when you accelerate ... thinking maybe an efi or afm plug might have been knocked

steering in speech marks? maybe something unplugged after being removed to access steering box to remove or something? Cant see how a tierod replaced would have any effect on how it runs...
