What about if you have an R180 front? Only some models came out with R200 fronts. It is a bit random but the post 94's had them.

Cheers

then you want the front diff from the early mistral/terrano II/ ford maverick... but not the facelifted one though with the TDI 'puter controlled 2.7, thats r200.

All v6 have r200, petrol and diesel 4bangers seem to all have r180.
Or do 94- diesels have r200 also?

Do you know if any had lsd in rear of these tho?
I believe the gtir pulsar had lsd rear r180. Havn't stumbled across any to disassemble and check out for compatibilty tho.
Also some subarus have r180 rear diff, I think some guys adapt these to go in datsuns to get lsd.

I have. The shaft needs the extension to engage with the clutch packs :(
Though i haven't tried the Pulsar cv to terrano comparison. I shall follow it up.

But do they come in 4.875:1 ratio? Or only 4.3?

The GTIR and TE-egt were homologation production vehicles which ran the 4.8 something ratio...that was the good ole days of Group B rallying. going around climbing trees with 6-700 hp hatchbacks... not a very high top speed but they'd snap your neck getting to there top speed though. used to own one.

here is a genuine Tarmac special 4wd 2litre manual.

When the party pooping saftey eggheads said they were too dangerous for that aswell nissan just put them in the BTCC...enter paul radisich

My old rear wheel drive legacy came factory with a R180 diff but they are way longer than a nissan diff

more to do with the carrier and the length of the pinion shaft. the actual business end of the LSD is what matters. the pinion and crown you want to suit the housing and carrier you want to use ,...the LSD/spider housing should be from the donor...
