spotty install help

ok i have installed some spotlights run a relay to a switch on centre console

wanting to hook it up to the high beam as well any tips where to find the high beam signal wire under the dash 1992 terrano

Only option that comes to mind just at the minute is to remove the steering column cover and look for the associated wire coming from the switch stalk?

if you have a tester light its easy, i did what kiwipete suggested, if you want more info i can pull apart the terrano and see which wire it is?
