Hello from Nelson

Post by Scobby12 »

Hi all,
I have a 1980 bj40 its my daily driver and goes good but it need work on it, thats why i join on here so i can ask questions if i get stuck on what to etc.

Also some of yous might now where one could go 4wding in nelson!

Bit about me: im 17 years old and just left school last year, my dad has a landcruiser prado (a box looking one not the curvy ones) and discovered the 40 series i first brought a yellow petrol one but with the big engine and a lot of rust decided to sell and buy a bj40 for a daily driver and off roader.

anyway heres some pics

Cheers Reece

We'll have to catch one weekend for a trip out somewhere. Maybe up the Porika track at St Arnaud?

Pylon maintenance access track from the Howard valley just south of Lake Rotoiti, Goes up and over to lake Rotoroa. Not a hard track but a bit of fun and some great views, has a few good play areas on the way over. And it fills in a day

Just went through Porika today, cleared a few large branches from the track, but otherwise, it's clear of trees (which is good after the winds we've had)

Oh, was that you Reece, heading towards Blenheim on Tuesday morning? Passed a cruiser just nth of Seddon which looked to be yours.
