Wanted:Suzuki LJ80

I am looking for one of these as a project, prefer live rego, the less rust the better and prefer a standardish one. Not fussed on ute, softop or tin top. Someone must have one sitting in a shed somewhere?

Good luck, LJ80s seem to be even rarer over here than LJ50s' specialy with live plates

Quote a few LJ81 (flat decks) around though.

Ever considered importing one from Oz??? Might be cheaper in the long run as you could get a nice one, not some horrible butchered rust bucket like they all are over here.

I'd been looking for AGES before i finally found one with a live rego... But don't worry as now i have one I'm sure there will be half a dozen turn up in mint condition as is usually the case with my luck!

Good luck though -The more LJ's bought back to life the better!

there is one that looks almost complete sitting at pick a part Takanini. not many of the rust holes are larger that a basket ball.

There were 3 almost comp for 3g recently on TM, been there maybe 4mths, may be sold or may still be sittin there... offered him 5hundy but he wasnt interested

Yeah - those trucks were piles of crap! None of them were complete, and had all been rusting away for far too long.
The guys kids used them for beach hacks and had chopped them up quite a bit as well. They're not worth anything now. I don't think there would be anything worth salvaging on any of them either.

That little 50 on TM looks quite good though.
