my diesel jeep has runs two batteries to do the 24 volt thing, I forgot to turn the isolator off when I parked it up....I know I know...anyway picked up a 24 volt charger on the way back tonight, in the 12v days id clip one lead to chassis and one to the positive terminal, on a dual batt 24 v do I just attach one lead to one battery and the other to the other one.
It sounds simple but don't want to fry anything, including the charger and me lol

Re: 24 volt
ensuring your charger is 24 volt place the negative lead on the post that grounds to the chassi and the positive lead on the positive that the alternator connects too on the other battery. this will bridge the two 12 volt batteries making 24 volt. i.e in series
a little excessive purchasing a 24 volt charger though for that, you can charge two twelve volt batteries at the same time by hooking them up in parallel

Re: 24 volt
thanks for that, super cheap had them for 89 bucks, and this way I can charge in the vehicle rather than take them out again, I looked at a multiple charger there as well but that was 279 a nice toy tho ..
