70 series cruiser reduction gears where to buy from

looking for reduction gears for a 70 series cruiser with a auto only ones in nz is like $3500 just to buy the gears and bearing let a long put them in any help would be good

There is a reseller in the USA...which sometimes depending on the dollar can be cheaper. But then shipping stuffs it up...

there is another option ,70 series prados use the same type of transfer but have a lower low range 2.3 as against 1.96 for cruisers.I haven,t done a changeover yet but i am going to try on my 40 at some stage ( when my prado is finished).I bought one of these transfers for 200 bucks.Mine is off an auto which is slightly different but i am hopefull it will work .Drive shaft pattern is different but i hope the flanges will change over
