id ring gear please

(S39:8 HH 3 2 13) code on the ring gear

I need a replacement ring gear for the front diff of my nissan Terrano. I have found one its the right ratio 4.875 (witch is the frist part of the code) but the second part does not. What does the second part mean and is it important?

Is that for the ABS?
Do you mean the Crown wheel inside the differential?
Ring gear on the oil pump?

Never mind, what year is your terrano and what engine and gearbox is in it.

I.E. 1993 2.7TD auto. in that order

Its a 4.875 ( 9inch diameter). that much i can tell you from what you've typed, is it 11 bolt or 9 bolt housing? and are they 10mm studs or 12 mm studs?

sorry is that better, I believe its out of d21 nivara and i have a 94, auto,2.7
and also underneath the diff housing d21 1993 hg 4.8

your terrano's rear axle is most likely a H233B. A 4.625:1 ratio and 233mm diameter crown wheel with 31 spline axles. which means your front will be a R200 you can replace this with a LSD from a S13 nissan silvia/ or R32 skyline

HG48 is a 4.875:1 ratio you will need a C200 front diff (4.875:1 ratio obviously)to match that.

If so that is exactly what I'm looking for, hub to hub. That would save swapping 4.8 gears into a donor V6 R200 front.

I thought only the V6s got R200 front in 4.3 and 4.6... this is good news !!

nope, ZD30 nivara has R200 4.8 so does my TD27eti mistral

And the Misty uses the D21 chassis aye? So an R200 from a Mistral would go straight into a D21 Terrano?
