Relocating rear indicators.

Post by Garrick »

Hey guys,
Just changing where my indicators are located. Just wondering if there are any rules or regulations about where the indicators and break lights have to be placed.

where are you shifting them to? there's a lighting rule to adhere to, which you can get a factsheet from the ltnz website, or your local testing station.
if you're jsut mounting some higher then you should be sweet. the factory indicators on one of my cars are on the top corner of the roof, but everything else is down by the bumper.

if it's as far toward the back of the vehicle as you can get it, i'm sure it'll be fine. have seen a few sj413s in the past that have had lights added to the top of the rear door (usually ex highrail ones) and the factory ones deleted.
