NOOB ALERT

Post by BobJ »

Hi,

Came across this site while doing 1kz diesel search. Interesting vehicles and trips. Diesel info is excellent. I have mostly toyota, but appreciate all.

Not a resident, but quite a few transplants in these parts. I try unsuccessfully to keep up with the crazy bastards. Will get over there one day even if just for a visit. Might get a Surf and start driving in other lane for practise. lol

Hi Bob, and welcome.
Just as you'll see our different machines, yours are different to us.
Can be interesting to see differences in trends in modifications worldwide, and also what specification manufacturers made vehicles to, for different market/climate.
There was a post from a canadian recently on here mentioning all the extra heating gear on the vehicle to keep in warm in the -40 temperatures!! brrr, thats cold!!
Feel free to show us some pictures of your current ride. We love pictures here 8)
