O/D light flashing on KZN130

Hey Guys,

Have a problem that started around Xmas coming back from Kaikoura. The O/D light started flashing it was 2sec off and 1sec on. The truck still drove and changed gears no problem, and when I stopped of gas adn started it back up it wasn't flashing anymore. A couple of months later it started flashing again and as before when I turned the truck off and started again the problem was gone and it could be weeks before it would flash again. Gradually though the flash is happening more often than not and it would pretty much start flashing after a bit of driving around most times I use the truck. I've noticed thought that if I turned the 4WD on and off it would stop it flashing.

Has anyone else had a similar problem or know what it could be. I'm a bit reluctant taking it in to a tranny shop as they would recommend a service first at $$$$ then any repairs on top of that. Last time I took my Safari in for a tranny service it never drove right again after that.

bridge e1-te1 with a fusible link in the diagnostics plug in the engine bay. take note the flashes they will relate to a fault code, the light flashing states there's a fault code present.
