Spring length,keep dropping springs out
The Zuk has gq diffs under it and 4" lifted prado coils, when the back flexs up the coil stays on the diff and comes away at the top from the body,if I hit anything at speed this can cause a spring to pop out,not ideal.but what I want to no is could the coil be to short,if it's flexing up to the max should that coil still be touching the body and not dropping?

Keep ya coils and make retainers top and bottom fella.
Ideally you could source different coils that would be longer to allow them to extend to meet your max flex distances but when at rest, crush to your current ride height. Only problem there is can be hard to fine tune the rate so as not to create a wollowing pig and not crush to minimum too easily either.
Hence as above, keep what ya got and make a simple retention system be it a soft relocation cone or a metal bar or something of the like.

Just to check, what's bottoming out dude, your shock or your spring? Bottoming out at crush as opposed to at extension? Just checking as people use different terminologies.

Re: Spring length, keep dropping springs out
Make the bottom of the spring captive and weld a relocation cone to the top

Another option would be fitting limiting straps to stop the diff dropping too far?

My Surf has them in the rear, not too sure why though. On mine i think it was a cert requirement, done before I got it.

My IFS Surf has them fitted in the rear with longer coils and coils spacers, and shocks. It was a road legal vehicle when I got it.
