Re: Gas Usage
My 1994 swb 2.8 turbo inter cooled diesel gets over 500km before the fuel light comes on (about 55 litres), 800km on a long trip flat roads.

Re: Gas Usage
Check air and fuel filters, tyre pressures. Any signs of leakage or do you have a big dent in the fuel tank?
Check Fuelly to see what others get from their Pajeros

I have a SWB 1993 2.5TD Pajero. I only seem to be getting 250km to a tank of diesel, this just doesn't sound enough... My tank is a 70 ish litre
Wow, any big tyres etc in the mix? again Wow, I'd be hunting no more than 12(generous lt per hundy) unless someones turned up the wick plus 33s etc

Re: Gas Usage
Im running 31" muddies, so that shouldnt be messing things up too much... Possibly something up with my gauge maybe ?

Yeah I find the same thing with my pajero aswell, it drops off full real quick then seems to slow down over the middle of the tank.

Re: Gas Usage
I brought a 3.5L petrol a while ago, and now if I even think about driving it the fuel gauge drops by half a tank.....goes through more gas than a medium sized banana republic

Re: Gas Usage
They gauge you shld be worrying about is the on that reads a buck fifty plus per litre as your filling it up, not the one on the dash that says your almost out
Top it up do a few hundy k's... repeat, maybe/ hopefully the tank isnt as big as you thought.

'Drift Spec'... The new "Half Assed"
