Re: castor correction
Could use offset bushes but they wont work at full articulation anyway.
better to get the suspension geometry changed by way of custom/ aftermarket parts and employ conventional bushes.

Re: castor correction
the centre hole is oliptical and can change the geometry depending on the position it is placed in.

don't the swivel housing bolt onto the diff?, could you not get the bolt holes slotted to allow rotation to correct angle? only issue could be the steering gear fouling the diff head, but i think the rear would go down away from that problem.

Re: castor correction
I've got castor correction bushes in my disco suspension under my series 2. It has reduced the suspension articulation but drives fine. I plan to go to castor corrected aftermarked suspension arms from the UK long term.

Re: castor correction
Caster corrected arms for LR's are available in NZ together with cranked trailing arms as well.
Re: castor correction
what should i budget on for caster corrected arms
how hard would it be to just drop the chassis mounts down a couple inches
is it possible?
and would it work

Re: castor correction
Caster corrected arms were about $600 when I got them.
You could drop the rear mounts but a lot of work to get right and then they hang down ready to catch anything when off road.
I reckon not worth the hassle, go for corrected arms.

Re: castor correction
not sure of the disco set up? but my vx i got ironman caster correction plates easy to fit too...
for a 100mm lift

Re: castor correction
I believe that disco arms can be bent to help with caster and will be ok.. unlike toyota arms which cannot be bent.. worth a search..

Re: castor correction

castor correction plates look simple enough
and ya wouldnt loose any articulation like castor correction bushes
