they have the 80 channel uhf 088 radios for $219 full size radio fitment, seems pretty good at a good price if anyone needs one.. i bought one today.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago ,seems to work well ,channel selector on the mike and radio ,80 ch ,seems to have a better range than my old uniden although that was approx 5 yrs old .

Were do you get an aerial and can it be fitted anywere or is there a better spot.

Somewhere flat like the roof (ideal) or side of the bonet. Can mount on bullbars but the forward range isnt as good. Not to sure where you would get radio gear from in rotorua but try dicksmith, if they dont do radio stuff they might be able put you on to some one that does

It also depends on whether it is a ground dependent or ground independent aerial as well
