No more Wrangler 33x12.5R15's???

Post by joffboyd »

Hey Guys,

I've been running Goodyear Wrangler 33x12.5R15's however I tried to order some new ones today and they said it's no good, they are phasing them out. I use my truck for work and play so need a tyre that wears well but is up to the task for the ruff stuff.... any recommendations?

It's a '91 Toyota Surf SSR, pretty standard though it's got a 2" body lift and a 2" suspension lift.

i had maxxis buckshots on mine for over a year and they barely wore. It was my daily driver as well so do over 15k. May have lost just over a mm of tread. I am not running BFG's and they are great too. The only reason i changed was i wanted bigger tyres so got the BFG's.
