1997 Nissan Patrol stolen from Christchurch

Post by Oncealoma »

Hi all, first time poster, long time reader.

Sadly first post is to ask you for help. Some little toerag decided that they have a greater need for my beloved truck than I do. Stolen around midday Thursday 9/8/12.

1997 Nissan Patrol, Blue/Gold, SWB, Diesel, Manual, NZ new. 156K on the clock, with a few basic mods. Safari snorkel, 50mm lifted suspension, gear box built inside, running on 32' Goodyear mud tyres.

Cant seem to resize any of my photos. Will try to one up soon.

I've had this truck for about 9 years & have really looked after it, so am gutted to be in this position.

Any help gratefully recieved.

Cheers

A work mate's partner started up a company that wires in a gps tracking system that not only tracks the vehicle but disables it any where there is cell coverage.
They do this for a car finance company. If someone stops paying the bill the car is disabled until the funds are paid. Once they finish paying the car off they have the choice of buying the kit as an alarm system.
I've asked her to give me a price on the system and installing it.
Watch this space.

A few years back now Nissan Skylines were going missing buy the dozen per week. Their system was what the police used to foil the shits doing it. Since then they've been a successful privately own local company.

I've had a few of them can get cheap ones for around $100, one I have now was $200ish does all of the above not to bad to install, best one to get is the TK103B comes with a remote so you can arm it without texting it.

Just Ebay

If you have a I-phone they have a good app to use them.
