Surf 1989 ln130 rev counter not working?

Hey in my surf the rev counter has just stopped working just wanting to know if any one has had this problem before and how they fixed it, thanks

Cable has probably broken. Poke your head underneath on the driver's side and you will see where the cable goes into the gearbox. Just unscrew it and check to see whether it is broken or not.

This would be the speedo cable you are refering too.
The rev counter runs off the injector pump.

First thing I'd check is that the plug is still connected at the pump.

Hey I've tried to have a look, what colour is the injector pump plug or what would it look like( how may wires running into the plug, is it the thin green wire?
